Music metadata
Tonearm uses Spotify catalog metadata for album search, album detail, artist names, release dates, artist images, album art, and tracklists. New catalog rows use Spotify album and track ids as their external identifiers.

Cover art
Album covers and artist images may be loaded from Spotify. These images remain owned by their respective rightsholders and are shown only in album, review, diary, list, artist, and discovery contexts.
Tonearm stores user activity and the minimum catalog references needed to operate the app; it does not claim ownership of, or aim to independently mirror, Spotify's catalog.
User data
Reviews, ratings, diary entries, follows, lists, favorites, and profile data are stored in Tonearm's Supabase project. Public activity and popularity surfaces are based on Tonearm user activity plus provider-powered discovery fallbacks when the app has no recent activity yet.

To report incorrect metadata, artwork concerns, copyright issues, or other source-data problems, contact gabrielsgs2007@gmail.com. Include the album URL and a clear description of the issue.
